Typical fields of application are to be found in chemical factories where nearly everywhere dangerous chemicals and vapours are to be expected. Also in laboratories, when transporting dangerous goods or in chemical areas where the carrying of filter self-rescuers is absolutely necessary. As the devices are packed and sealed air tight, they can be given to different people, for example visitors as often as you like within the shelf life limit.

BARIMASK consists of a half mask with inhalation and exhalation valves combined with a cartridge filter, which is packed in a sealed box with a belt clip and additional hand loop.

Protection is provided for specified organic and inorganic gases and vapours such as Butanone, Chlorine and Hydrogen Cyanide as well as for Sodium Dioxide and Ammonia. According to the test criteria (gas concentration 0.25% airflow 30l/min) there is a classification for filter self-rescuers to have a normal protection duration time. BARIMASK has achieved a minimum breakthrough time of 15 minutes equal to the classification.
